T O P I C R E V I E WCeridwenedited outI edited it out, cause I was a bit uncertain how ethical that question is; furthermore probably it is just concealing another question that I did not dare to ask. Thanks for your input though. And Hera you are right, I am interested in the outcome. But it maybe is not the right question to ask.HeraI'm very hyper right now and in a hurry but I will write my thoughts on it as soon as I can get them together lol!CeridwenThank you. Hope everything is going right. CeridwenI find it an interesting task here to determine significators. As I read the 1st house always describes the querent. So that would be me, as I asked the question. Now, I was asking about a third party, P; as I did not specify his relation to me, he would be in the 7th house, and S, as his current or ex partner, would be in his 7th house. So he in the 7th house, she in the 1st house? Or do I ignore the fact that I asked the question,a nd simply put him into the first house?Tofu addictYou are indeed the first house, and your ex? is in 7, and his partner then the 7th of the 7th, which is the first house. So he is Saturn and the Moon, and she is the Sun. There is an applying square between the Sun and Saturn , so it would indicate that they are still together, but that it is not a bed of roses, and that there is tension. Saturn is in the via combusta, but it in exaltation. There is also an applying sextile between the Moon and Saturn, it is out of orb, and before that it is making an opposition with Venus, also out of orb. To sum it up, i think they are still together at the moment . The last aspects of the moon are not that great , opposite Venus, which is part of her, another indication that there is tension. HeraS can't be 1st house, the querent is 1st house. P is 7th house, yes. I will need to think who S is. Either ruler of the 5th, or other feminine planets or planets aspecting him (applying or separating). CeridwenHera,Hm, why can`t S be 1st house? That is what I read at least about turned houses; that the querent, even though we start with the turning with them, is being neglected then, (in a question about third party), so that the 1st house indeed can be "doubly" occupied (because the querent really is of no concern for the question).I`d think that either P was 7th house and S 1st house, or maybe, hesitantingly, P was 5th house and S 11th house.Tofu, thank you for your input. It is very much appreciated. HeraYou cannot neglect the querent, it's always 1st house. So S cannot be 1st house. It is advised not to ask third party qs because they can become confusing. We'll have to assign S to another house/planet. But def not 1st house, that's you. Besides, the answer is of personal interest to you and you cannot be cut out. CeridwenHmm, I`m not sure I agree this time, but anyway, I asked for input.I have another question though, let`s I have a romantic interest in P, would that put him into my 5th house?I think what I want to ask, and it seems like there are very diverging opinions on this is, if the 5th house can be used for people, one has romantic interest in or affairs with, or if it is strictly about children and feelings of romance (but not the people you might have a romance with). It is difficult to phrase this question, did you understand what I meant though?I have read some people are adamant about: Lovers or love interests are never found in the 5th house, while others merrily use it all the time.HeraLove interests can be 5th house. It all depends on how YOU see him - as a crush or you want more, like a partnership with him. It all depends on your view on him and what he means to you. If he's just a crush - 5th house, if more - 7th house. anongrl10Ceri, I concur with Tofu regarding your question on what house S is. And since the question is about them, it's fine that the 1st house is no longer the querent. Tofu's analysis makes a lot of sense to me. About our q re: the 5th house and the person you are interest in romantically. I don't think it is about romance/affair/interest (5th) vs. love/LTR (7th). The reason most horary astrologers pick 7th for the person the querent asks about is because it's on the me-them axis (1st - 7th). Otherwise, really over 80% of the horary q's asked are about infatuations and affairs and the 5th would be used much more often than the 7th. But the choice of the 7th has nothing to do with this distinction. Anongrl10 PS: I will do your reading today. Did you want to modify your q to include S? As I said, it is immaterial to me. Most "love" questions in horary are infatuations/crushes/affairs/ etc. with questionable future. That is why I said, I don't put those in the 5th. About my tarot reading for you, I'd like to know if you stick to your previous q (about P and you) or if you'd like to rephrase it (I simply give you an option if you wish to ask about S and P). Let me know. CeridwenAnon,I wrote you a mail. And yes, I think S should be part of the reading.I know you did not ask me what I want from him. Just read your email and replied there. For the tarot reading, it doesn't matter what you want from him as much as what you want to ASK the cards about! LOLI think at a minimum you are interested in him and would like to know if he likes you? Right? CeridwenRight.
